One of the best things about shopping on the Internet is that you can almost always find deals. For example, tomorrow, my husband and son are going to an amusement park, and I was able to save them about $25 just by buying the tickets online and printing them at home. I’d say that I get a better deal than a bricks and mortar storefront by shopping online about 90 percent of the time.

I especially like it when you can get notifications when the price has dropped on an item that you want, such as at this site, Price Drop Alert. What you do is find the product that you want, and then give them the information they need to contact you when the price goes down. If you’re good at planning ahead, this can really save you money, especially on large purchases!

Of course, coupons and promo codes can also save you a ton of money on the Internet. All I do is type in something like
Ashford Coupons, and I’ll almost always get something valuable. You can do this on a search engine, or directly on the site that gives you price alerts that I mentioned.

Whenever I find a site like this, I have to bookmark it. Actually, sometimes I go a step further than that and just put it on my home page so that I absolutely don’t forget about it, and it is always at my fingertips. Getting into the habit of never accepting a regular retail price online is a good thing, because the money you save can really be significant!
