I’m getting to the point where I’m almost ready to start selling some of the clocks I’ve been making lately. The question is, can a small metal shop compete with huge companies that sell to other large companies? Companies that have huge ad budget for commercials to promote the product? At this point, I think so. The Internet has certainly equalized things as far as product promotion goes. Commercials are a good example of this. I can make my own commercial with a limited budget, and with the right promotion, it can get millions of views just like the hugely expensive ones on television. It’s something to think about when you’re promoting a product on a limited budget!
Here is a commercial published by Generational Equity of Dallas that is a good example of how YouTube is the perfect platform for commercials in today’s age of digital media. Impressive, isn’t it?
