I’m considering going back to school for my doctorate. The thing is, I’m absolutely torn between becoming a psychologist or counselor and becoming a professor of education. One of the things I’ve been doing to help me make my decision is checking out psychologist careers in order to see what is available, how much the jobs pay and what kind of experience is needed in this market. I know the outlook for higher education jobs is not good, as more and more university are hiring people for part-time adjunct positions that don’t pay very much or even have benefits.

I know that there is a demand for psychologists in my town. There are only two, and I hear complaints that they are no longer accepting new patients. So, perhaps I need to investigate the grad schools with that specialty.

I’ve never had to get a quick cash loan, and frankly, I hope I never will. Still, it’s a good thing that these loans are available, because they’re quick and easy to get. So many people, including me, live pretty much paycheck to paycheck. Even if you have savings, life events can easily wipe out your bank account.

My family was saving money for a wood burning stove so that we can reduce our heating costs this winter. However, last week, our cat got sick, and we ended up spending almost $600 at the vet, leaving us with only fifty dollars in our savings. If we had not had the savings, we would have gotten a payday loan, because there is no way that we would have not had the cat treated. She was really sick, and almost had kidney failure!

So once again, we are saving. We are absolutely hoping that nothing else happens before we get the wood stove. No more sick animals, or other unanticipated expenses! Of course, there’s never a guarantee.

With bank loans being so difficult to get these days, it’s good to know that there is a way to get a quick loan when you need one without having to ask your parents. Usually, all you need is a pay stub, and you’re on your way.
