I’ve been cutting back on a lot of things lately in order to save money. I’ve cut back on renting movies, my magazine subscriptions and even getting manicures. Last night, my husband and I were talking about all of the paperwork that one signs when a person buys a home. He got irritated at me because I admitted to not reading all fifty pages of it. Then I realized that I had purchased home insurance when I got my mortgage and that I have no idea how much I am paying for insurance since it’s in my mortgage payment. In other words, perhaps it is time that I compare home insurance and see if I could perhaps afford a manicure or two every month with the savings. I’d rather have that or rent another movie than pay more than I have to for insurance!
